A magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred north of Chile.

As quoted by the Altay-Sayan branch of the United Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the epicenter was located 106 km east of the city of Arica.

According to the intensity of the earthquake, the earthquake is expected to remain strong.

Previously, the fall of meteorites in the state of Michigan is causing a 2.0-magnitude earthquake.
